We all want to change the world
and yet we forget
that we already do,
every single day.
Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Cheryl and I live in one of the most vibrant neighbourhoods in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I’m a writer, teacher, mentor, coach, public speaker and creative collaborator.
This site represents a smattering of activities, ideas, projects and events that I’ve led or participated in over the years. I’m always looking to learn, grow, have fun, create – and help others do the same.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me for help with your special project or event: cherylcopy@gmail.com

Dear Ms. Williams,
Based on your experience in public speaking, we would like to invite you to participate as one of our judges during this year’s 3MT/MT180 competition. During this competition McGill graduate students share the complexities of their research in an engaging and accessible way before a live audience.
In 2017/2018, 84 graduate students participated in the university-wide 3MT/MT180 competition, and as three-minute presentations become more popular at academic conferences, we expect a higher number of participants this year. This event can only be successful with the help of experienced and confident public speakers like you. Therefore, we would appreciate your help during the heats. As a judge, you will be asked to evaluate each participant’s presentation and to decide who will advance to the finals.
Here are the dates.
